Space Coast Blast Sled Hockey celebrated another successful season with an end of the year banquet on May 18th at the Knights of Columbus. The 2018-2019 season was another banner year for both our youth and adult travel teams. Our banners and trophies were on display at the for all our guests to see:
Youth Travel:
- Youth A National Champions at Disabled Hockey Festival
- Youth A Champions at Hendrickson Foundation Hockey Festival
Adult Travel:
- Tier IV Champions at NHL Sled Classic
- Southeast Sled Hockey League (SESHL) Champions 3 Years in Row
It was a great evening spent with teammates, coaches and their families bonding over a delicious potluck dinner. Coach Brad was the MC and did a wonderful job individually recognizing every player, coach and volunteer in attendance from the program.
The banquet was also a special opportunity for the team to recognize founder Coach Tom Reinarts for his commitment, dedication and contributions to the Blast’s growth and success. He will be retiring from the program after 12 years and will be greatly missed. Players in attendance are pictured here with Coach Tom.
