Madaleine Gallagher #83- Forward

Madeleine Gallagher was born in Fort Meyers, Florida with hereditary Spastic Paraplegia (a condition that affects her mobility). She first began playing sled hockey in 2016 at the age of 8. Since then, she has been a valuable member of Space Coast and was selected as a member of the USA Women’s Sled Hockey team, winning 3 world championships in 2022, 2023, and 2025. Her ultimate goal for the sport is to represent Team USA at the 2030 Paralympic Games!
Tony Martinez #15- Defense

Tony Martinez was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with Spina Bifida. He grew up with a goal of playing football but got introduced to sled hockey instead. Ever since then, Tony’s life was changed and he says it has helped shape him into the person he is today. To Tony, if he didn’t have sled hockey, he doesn’t know what he would be doing.
Karina Villegas #23- Forward

Karina Villegas joined us from Venezuala! In her teens she was in a car accident that led to her right leg being amputated. After some time she came to the U.S. and began to call the Space Coast her home. In 2014 Karina brought her daughter to the iceplex and instantly fell in love with the complexity and precision of ice hockey at every level. She went on to play with the Blast and in 2018, she became a world champion with the USA Women’s Team.
Karina has an extensive list of well-earned achievements through sled hockey and she continues to prove every day that she belongs on the ice!
Tripp Skinner #16- Defense

Tripp Skinner was born in Orlando, FL with Spina Bifida (a condition that impacts his lower limb mobility and strength). He began his sled hockey career in 2015 with the Blast. After going off the college to the University of New Hampshire in 2020, Tripp got the opportunity to continue playing sled hockey with the Northeast Passage Wildcats while he completed his degree. In the 11 years since he began his journey in sled hockey, Tripp has gotten to travel not just the country but the continent competing at various levels and honing his skills to be the best he can be at the sport he loves.
Sean Gallagher #11- Goaltender

Sean Gallagher, just like his sister Madeleine, was born in Fort Meyers, FL with hereditary Spastic Paraplegia. Sean started playing sled hockey in 2013 at age 10, and was originally a forward for Space Coast Blast, until being placed in the Goal tending position. He is also a member of the USA Men’s National Practice Squad. Wearing #11, Sean continues to work hard every day with the passion and hopes to make the United States Men’s National Sled Hockey team.
Tasha Watral #3- Forward

Tasha came to the Space Coast from Tulsa, Okalahoma. She was born with bilateral clubfoot. In 2016 her right ankle was medically fused together, which limits her mobility. She discovered sled hockey through a social media in summer of 2025 and she found SCB that August. Tasha plays #3 for the team as a forward. The sport means the world to her because not only can she participate in a high-energy sport once again, but she feels a deep sense of belonging on the Blast!
Vic Berrebi #13

Vic originally comes from Virginia and is a proud veteran who served 22 years in the U.S. Air Force. Growing up, competitive sports were a major part of Vic’s life all the way through his retirement from the military. Following an unsuccessful lower spinal fusion, he thought his days of competitive athletics were over. This turned around when Vic was introduced to sled hockey in 2024! He says it has reignited his competitive spirit he had been missing. Vic says he thrives on the speed, physicality, and camaraderie of the sport.
Vic is committed to becoming a stronger and more skilled player every time he gets into his sled.
Sebastian Hardcastle #7

Sebastian is an 18 year-old from Atlanta, Georgia. He resided in Cocoa Beach for a while before he was accepted into the University of Florida to earn his degree in construction management. When he was 6 years old Sebastian was diagnosed with Proteus syndrome and subsequently had surgeries to correct the discrepancies in his legs. A few later when he was 10, his mom met Beau Corbett’s mom during a physical therapy session and they invited Sebastian to try sled hockey. Ever since then, he has been devoted to the sport and has had many wonderful opportunities as a hard-working athlete in addition to being hard-working Gator!
Bailey Trinder #68

Bailey was born right here in the Sunshine state and has been playing sled hockey with the blast since 2019 after a car accident at age 19. His personal goals on the ice are to keep pushing himself hard and become a resourceful player ready for any position the coaches may need him in. Blast has gotten Bailey back into the competitive travel team atmosphere that he was missing from when he played able bodied sports. The sport of sled hockey gave him a greater understanding of the impact that disabled sports can mean to people. He has developed a great appreciation for sports covering all ranges of abilities.
Angel Jaime-Figueroa #10- Center

Born and raised in Orlando, FL, Angel began playing sled hockey in 2015 at when he was 10. His personal goal off the ice is to continue improving himself, especially regarding his health journey.
Sled hockey means the world to Angel, most notably because of the opportunity to connect with people who share similar experiences and challenges. Through the sport, he has gained friendships, confidence, and found a community where he can relate to others while doing something he loves.
Wearing #10 and playing Center, Angel strives to be a positive teammate, work hard every day, and continue growing on and off the ice.
Beau Corbett #22- Defense

Beau is a 25 year-old player from Orlando, Florida. He was born with Klippel-Trenauney syndrome and was introduced to sled hockey in 2015. It was the very first competitive sport he played and it became an integral part of his life. He says the sport helps him keep active and has given him a community of people with struggles similar to his; which creates a deep-rooted bond with support. Whenever Beau hits the ice his goal is to lift up his team in the same way they have done for him.
Brandon Morris #21- Forward

Born in the Florida panhandle, Brandon has been playing sled hockey since age 29. He resonated with the sport because of his thirst for competition. He had been playing team sports all the way up until he was diagnosed with transverse myelitis in 2015.
Brandon says that the gap was filled when he met the Blast team. He plans to play sled hockey until he is “old like Vic”.
He has goals to improve himself every day, stay out of the penalty box, and be as “unfun to play against as possible!”
Khrista Matthews #5- Defense

Khrista was born in Laconia, New Hampshire. She was paralyzed in February of 1991 and was introduced to sled hockey through Northeast Passage based in Durham, NH in 1994. She plays defense for Space Coast but has experimented with other positions.
